From 30 degrees to below 10!
Yup, that was a major change in weather.
I spent the past two weeks back home in Tokyo. It was great to be able to escape the Singapore heat and embrace the cooler climate. Winter has always been my favourite season, mainly because of all the fuzzy, chunky-knit sweaters and boots you get to wear. Let’s be real, it’s summer all year round in Singapore, therefore you never really get the chance to bundle yourself up. Hence why I made full use of the two weeks I spent in Tokyo to layer and stay cozy.
Two weeks seem very short. I mainly spent my time catching up with friends, spending time with my sister and my old folks (haha, mom & dad, don’t mind). It was so good to be back home. I already miss my mom’s home food.
In these two weeks, two very important instances took place. Firstly, I finally made my blog live, and thank you to everyone who took the time to have a look. It really means a lot. Secondly, I’m in the 20s club; teenage hood is over (it’s still sinking in…).
Here’s a photo-diary of my winter break in Tokyo.
It’s been a great winter break and now it’s time to get back to the college routine.
