Recuperating from a week long of holidays and trying to tick off all the bazillion things I have on my to-do list… Until then, sharing with you an #OOTD from the past week, incorporating two of this season’s top trends, head-wraps and off-the-shoulder!
Undoubtedly, clavicle bearing necklines have been taking the fashion industry by a storm this season. Bardot, also less fashionably known as off-the-shoulder tops have been omnipresent in the market with no signs of becoming passé (phew, thank god!)
With that said, head-wraps or bandanas, a dormant trend has quietly and effectively been giving us major 60s vibes! It’s the perfect hair accessory for those #badhairday kinda days and or for times when you just want your inner badass to transcend the rest.
With the sporadic weather in Tokyo the past week, from unseasonable warmth to cool breeze, one’s never too sure of what to grab from the wardrobe.
As the plan was to spend the day at Odaiba, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, just minutes away from Central Tokyo, this monochromatic silhouette, with red accents was perfect for a breezy summer day out!

have easily become my go-to pieces, whether paired all together or mix & matched!
The fresh white cotton gives a girlishly cute sun-kissed shoulder vibe with the chic frayed denim – always good to play around hard and soft textures for an effortlessly edgy look.

Also may I just add, after styling this look, I coincidentally felt like I was channeling Raven, from “That’s So Raven!” Remember that 2000s Disney Channel Show, where the lead, Raven had special psychic powers? Yes? Well, that’s how I felt, minus the psychic powers, naturally – sigh.
Well the two trends; head-wraps and Bardot tops have very comfortably made a space in my closet and I’m still on the lookout for more such fashionable staples!
Great outfit! Off the shoulder tops are so cute. Love the bag the most, where did you get it from? x

Hey Roda, thank you! The bag was given to me as a gift, however it’s from a local Japanese brand. xx ❤️
